Mini-Pleat Technology

The pleat pack is fabricated from 100 % polypropylene media. Continuous polypropylene spacer beads are thermally bonded to both sides of the media. Spacer beads are 3/8 of an inch apart for media support and are colour coded to identify the efficiency grade.

Pleat tips and spacer beads are thermally formed with controlled spacing to produce a strong aerodynamic shape. This controlled spacing promotes the diffusion of air properly over the entire face of the pleated surface.

This pleating process produces a revolutionary Mini-pleat pack engineered for the most demanding applications. A Mini-pleat pack with amazing durability, low aerodynamic pressure loss and virtually waterproof qualities. There are no binders used in the media or spacer beads and therefore there is nothing to promote microbial growth such as bacteria, mold, fungi, etc.
